POROMETER 4

Since the introduction of the Coulter Porometer I in the early eighties, the porometer market has been dominated by Coulter. Improved models of the Coulter Porometer were launched in the nineties. Following the acquisition of the Coulter Corporation by Beckman, the Beckman Coulter Porometer III was introduced in 1999. It has never been successful and Coulter disappeared as a supplier of porometers.

WETTING FLUIDS

The wetting liquid used must create a low contact angle with the sample and preferably have a low surface tension. Typical wetting liquids include alcohols and water, but the best overall performance is obtained with specialized liquids. We provide a range of such wetting fluids.
