The MemSystems line-up

Membrane researchers often rely on manual tools and in-house setups. While these may get the job done, they often introduce variability and human error into critical steps of the workflow. With MemSystems, these risks are eliminated.

Our current portfolio includes four cutting-edge instruments, developed specifically for membrane R&D:

• MemCast™ – Create polymeric membranes with controlled and repeatable film thickness. Whether free-standing or cast on a substrate, MemCast ensures every membrane is produced under the same conditions—removing operator-to-operator variability.

• RotaMem – Potting hollow fibers manually is tricky, time-consuming, and prone to leakage if not done perfectly.  RotaMem uses centrifugal forces to uniformly distribute two-component glues, ensuring consistent potting quality, every time.

• MemCut – After potting, fine trimming is key to preparing functional test modules. MemCut provides a clean, sharp cut—avoiding cracks, uneven surfaces, or poorly sealed ends.

• Spider – Perform high-throughput filtration screening with up to 16 membranes at once. This robust, stainless-steel module speeds up performance testing for both aqueous and non-aqueous based feeds.
